Poppy's Place | Douglas Lake Cabin with Hot Tub, Kayaks & Smoky Mountain Views

FANFREAKINGTASTIC! Positive: This place is amazing!! Have reserved it twice and will absolutely be doing it again! Negative: EVERYTHING! Location, comfort, quality people Who own it.

This is our new 'home away from home'. Absolutely perfect and accommodating with my disability. Positive: Our first visit to Poppy's was outstanding and couldn't wait to go back. Just enjoyed our second stay and it was truly as amazing as our first visit was. It truly is our happy place. Great place to relax and 'disconnect' from the day to day. Already looking at our next visit soon!!! If it wasn't for Poppy's Place, we wouldn't be able to travel due to my disabilities. We cannot thank Dawn and Scott enough and hope you know just how much happiness this place brings us. Best of all, our Sadie Bug is able to go with us. xoxo Negative: Same feedback as our last review. We personally thought the mattress on main floor wasn't firm enough. However, we don't consider this a con as comfort is relative. We just prefer firm mattresses but we slept just fine.

Poppy's Place was just what we needed. It was the perfect getaway and allowed us to totally relax. Positive: We really appreciated how private it was. Having all amenities on the same floor was crucial for me and not only was this the case, there was even a door from the primary to the patio which was so beneficial. Negative: The only thing that we felt was lacking was our comfort of the primary bed. Although, 'comfort' is selective based on individual preference so don't feel like this is a negative. We just prefer a firmer mattress.
