Extended our stay, and plan to come back! Positive: Beautifully furnished, lakeside barn/cabin with dock. Rental includes the use of kayaks, paddleboards, and swim floaties. Good fishing in cove when water levels allow which is most of yr (check with TVA). Met the super nice owners. Pet friendly. Pictures on Booking.com dont do this place justice. I'm not sure why a few reviewers didn't give this an excellent review. 30 minutes from Sevierville/North Pigeon Forge touristy areas. Quiet area but not secluded! Negative: We experienced no concerns! These owners know their business for sure. Only minor suggestions would be more large glasses in kitchen & some pots/skillets missing lids. Maybe consider a light on the end of the dock for night fishing also (if it doesnt create a bug issue).

Smoke Rise Barn -Early Fall

My family of 8 adults visited Smoke Rise Barn during Sept. 2023. It is an excellent property. It was clean and well stocked. Nice amenities. We very much liked the location. It is quiet, situated on the lake in a scenic rural area yet convenient to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dandridge, & Bush's Baked Bean Museum & Cafe. We knew the lake would be down at this time of year but we were still able to fish and enjoy pontoon rides on the lake. I can see where a trip during the summer when the water is up and you can swim and boat would be great. There's water toys, a nice dock and deck to facilitate this. We particularly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit during the evening. The hosts were attentive and responsive to any questions we had. I recommend this property. However, if you have an issue with stairs you may need to consider all the bedrooms are upstairs. We knew this going in so was not a surprise. (One member has problems with stairs but managed nicely and enjoyed her stay.) There is also ample parking for a large group. We had 4 vehicles and a Jon boat & trailer. Parking was not tight. One of my family members is already planning to book a trip during the summer. Thank you, Dawn & Michael for a great stay. Note: You may not think it worthwhile to visit, but the Bush's Baked Beans Museum & Cafe is a must see. Their employees are friendly/welcoming. It's located in a beautiful area, the museum is interesting, plus the cafe food is reasonable and good.

2nd time stayer

This was our second time here and we truly love this location. My kids begged me to rent it again. We were sad not to see the corn hole but still had a great time! I am sure we will be back!! They really have everything you need for a nice time away.

Beautiful location on the lake!

My family stayed at The Barn for a long weekend getaway. Everyone had an amazing time. The house is perfect with all the amenities you would need. The property owners were so friendly and fast to respond to any questions we had. The cove is a short walk from the house and is so secluded and beautiful. The owners also provide kayaks and other fun water floats! I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

Dandridge,TN

Dawn/Scott were outstanding hosts, always very helpful, courteous and very kind. Barn/house is very accommodating, has everything you need for the week. Lake was amazing, dogs loved jumping off the dock. We did get to use the boat for couple days, although it was not running right, we still got to run around take it to a cove for the dogs to play in the water. All in all it was a great trip to the Smokey Mountains, we’d definitely go back. Thank you
